Editing a recorded collection
You can change the actual weight, compliance score and notes after submitting — not the bins, fullness or photos. Deleting is a soft delete.
Open the collection from the Collections list and edit it.
What you can change
Three fields: actual weight, compliance score and notes.
What you cannot
The bin, the template, the fullness, the location, the compliance flag and the photos are fixed once submitted.
That is deliberate — those are the observations someone made while standing at the bin. If they are genuinely wrong, delete the row and record it again rather than quietly rewriting what was seen.
Who can edit what
Owners and managers can edit any collection. Inspectors can only edit collections they recorded themselves. If the edit button is missing on someone else's row, that is why.
Deleting
Deleting is a soft delete: the row stops counting towards analytics, but it is not destroyed. You will be told which date you are removing before it happens.
