Calibration
Reviews the last 30 days of real scale weights and suggests better typical weights and densities per waste type. Nothing applies until you approve it.
Open Calibration. It looks at the last 30 days of collections where someone entered a real scale weight, and recommends better typical weight and density values for each waste type.
Why you want it
Those two values are what convert a fullness percentage into an estimated weight. Get them right and every estimated collection gets closer to the truth — including collections recorded by people without scales.
In other words: the team who weigh things properly make the numbers better for everyone else.
Nothing happens without you
Calibration only ever suggests. Each row is Ready to apply, Needs review, or Insufficient data, and you choose:
- Apply suggested values — take the recommendation.
- Edit values — take it with your own adjustment.
- Defer — leave it alone for now.
"Insufficient data"
Not a fault. It means too few real weights have been recorded against that waste type for a recommendation to mean anything. Weigh a few more and it will resolve itself.
Who can do it
