Inviting your team
Invite from Team with the role you want them to hold. Every invitation consumes a licence for that role, so buy licences first.
Open Team and send an invitation with the role you want the person to hold. They get an email with a link to set their own password.
Buy licences first
Every invitation consumes a licence for the role you are inviting into, so an owner with no licences cannot add anyone. If an invitation will not send, this is almost always why — the message names the role you are short of.
See Licences and seats.
Then assign them to templates
This is the step people miss. A new collector with a licence still sees nothing to collect until they are added to a template's collectors.
If someone reports an empty template list, they are almost certainly not assigned yet — not broken. See Collection templates.
If the invitation never arrives
- Spam — ask them to check, particularly on locked-down corporate mail.
- The right address — people often check a personal inbox when the invite went to a work one.
Picking the role
Give the least access that lets someone do their job — see Roles and permissions.
